Build Awesome Culture with Candra Canning
Our latest webinar on 22 June, 2016, Build Awesome Culture, featured Candra Canning of Live Bright Now. Candra continues to be a driving force in the Corporate Culture World. This webinar provided a chance to get beyond culture initiatives and into the new frontier of the awe mindset. Infusing your organization with a sense of wonder and awe increases alignment, innovation, and produces extraordinary performance results. Additionally, Candra explored UC Berkeley’s new findings on the neuroscience of awe and its benefits for creativity, stress reduction and teamwork. Candra gave us the opportunity to peer around the corner into the future of what nature and awe can do for your company and your most important business results.
Corporate Culture – Same Team, All Team
Jessica Mah is founder and CEO of inDinero. According to Jessica, “Our major failures from phase one of inDinero had to do with culture. We were everything TIME magazine has said about millennials… and then some. We could visualize our long-term dreams for what we wanted inDinero to become, but nothing had the muscle to make it full circle.” Jessica loves helping entrepreneurs run better businesses. She has grown the company from zero to multi-million dollar revenues with over 150 employees and has been featured in the Forbes and Inc 30 Under 30 Lists.
Build a Company of Engaged and Dynamic Employees with Barry Schlouch
Our latest webinar featured Barry Schlouch, who with his wife, over the past 32 years, has completed $1 billion in business, employs 250 dedicated and engaged employees (including their first employee from 32 years ago), and was ranked the #1 Best Place to Work in PA by former Governor Tom Ridge. Barry discussed his CTH model (Care-Trust-Help) for building a business through building a workforce. It was an interactive session where Barry shared proven techniques (many that go against the grain of what is often taught) and leveraged the collective genius of the group to share techniques to strengthen your culture, improve your retention, increase the growth of your team, and attract talented people that seek out your company.
Membership in YPO Global One gives you access to exclusive member events
Our membership dues are lower in YPO Global One (annual dues are: primary chapter US$1750, secondary chapter US$1500, US$500 temporary transfer member), to offset the greater need for our geographically dispersed members to travel to Global One events and meetings, and to free up our members’ budgets, allowing them to participate in more events and opportunities.

2016 – Festival of Inspiration, Bangalore, India
The Festival of Inspiration was a two day boutique festival set amidst the extravagantly royal Leela Palace, Bangalore from April 29th-30th with Mr. Sanjay Raj as the Day Chair for the Chapter. It was an exceptional two day experience where guests were enabled to have real and personal interactions with some of the most inspiring personalities of our time, learned new intriguing concepts, evoked inspiration through stories and talks by the stalwarts of start ups, women entrepreneurs to philanthropy and finance. And the icing on the cake was the exquisitely extravagant entertainment along with heavenly epicurean delights by the top chefs at The Leela Palace, breath taking performances and pulsating dinner parties on the two nights. Over 63 people attended this truly “only in YPO” experience.

2014 – Journey to Bhutan
The YPO Global One chapter organized a tailor made chapter experience in the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. Each day was filled with adventure, education and relationship building. With it’s reputation for mystery and magic, Bhutan is often called the The Last Shangri-La. It is the only country to measure happiness and has been ranked one of the Happiest Places on Earth.

2013 – Amazon Leadership Immersion
An experience of a lifetime in the heart (and lungs) of our world. On this unique Ecuadorian adventure, our members interacted with ancient cultures and luxuriated in rare, pristine environments that offered an abundance of wisdom, vision, and connection. In addition, members received one-on-one interaction with Lynne Twist (Soul of Money) and Bill Twist, co-founders of the Pachamama Alliance.
A Mentor: Someone Whose Hindsight Can Become Your Foresight
A Mentee: Someone Whose Questions Can Make You Rethink the Right Answers
We are truly excited to implement one of the newest and most dynamic YPO-WPO programs, a Virtual Mentoring Program. Piloted in FY12 with only eight chapters by the WPO Board, the program was a great success and has quickly grown to become one of the premiere benefits for members of our organization. Mentors are paired with mentees and both parties have found significant value from this one year partnership (one virtual meeting per month is suggested). This year, there are already 57 chapters with existing program or ones in development. Having found it to be a terrific way to gain insight beyond one’s own education and experience, participants of the program commend the unique and invaluable one-to-one networking opportunity.
YPO Global One fully participates in YPO Events and Networks
Exclusive access to world-renowned resources and life-changing experiences are just some of the highlights members and their families can expect from YPO events. These include chapter events, regional events, international events, business events, personal events and family events. We encourage all members to get involved and take advantage of all that membership in YPO has to offer.
YPO-WPO Networks and Groups leverage social networking technology to bring members together around business, personal and philanthropic interests, rather than geographic location. YPO-WPO currently has more than 50 Networks and more than 700 Groups. Members may have more to share with someone on the other side of the world than a member next door, and Networks and Groups were created to facilitate that new dimension of membership. We encourage all members and significant others to fully participate in YPO Networks — Business, Personal and Social Enterprise Networks — so that you may interact with people around the globe who share similar professional and personal interests — wine, sailing, investing, philanthropy, politics, travel, tennis and considerably more.
